Andrew Corcoran is the Managing Partner of the Washington, DC office of WCCB LAW, LLP.  Prior to forming WCCB, Mr. Corcoran was a counsel at the international law firm of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom where he practiced for nearly 12 years. Mr. Corcoran has experience in a broad array of litigation including, among others: general commercial litigation, securities litigation, energy litigation and regulation, project development and construction litigation, and mass torts litigation. As a result of this broad experience, Mr. Corcoran has developed the ability to quickly adapt and represent clients in nearly any area of civil litigation.

Mr. Corcoran is actively involved in pro bono work. In the past, Mr. Corcoran represented a holocaust survivor in a New York state action brought by a German company to enforce a German judgment for pre-restitution repairs of real property wrongfully seized during WWII. In that case, the New York Supreme Court issued a rare judgment refusing to enforce the foreign judgment on the basis that it violated New York public policy. This landmark case was the focus of multiple articles in the New York Law Journal.

Mr. Corcoran has published a number of legal articles and has been named a Rising Star by Superlawyers magazine in 2014, 2015, and 2016. He currently serves as a board member for the Chevy Chase Recreation Association, a non-profit community pool for Chevy Chase, Maryland. In addition, Mr. Corcoran has served as an adjunct professor of law at George Washington University Law School.
